Beyonce And Andre 3000 To Duet on Amy Winehouse Cover

Beyonce and Andre 3000 are set to duet on an Amy Winehouse Cover for 'The Great Gatsby' Soundtrack which is being executive produced by mogul Jay Z

Beyoncé is going “Back to Black” with some help from André 3000. The pop icon and OutKast rapper are teaming up for a remake of the late Amy Winehouse’s classic.

According to E! News, the cover will appear on the soundtrackto the upcoming Baz Luhrmann-directed film The Great Gatsby. The original song was recorded by Winehouse for her 2006 Grammy-winning album Back to Black.

Jay-Z is producing the soundtrack, which blends contemporarymusic with jazz and hip-hop. “It’s a very different take on ‘Back to Black,’” said a rep for Interscope Records, who willrelease the album.

This is not B and André’s first time working together. They previously collaborated on “Party” off 2011’s 4.

The Great Gatsby stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, and Tobey Maguire, and hits theaters nationwide on May 10.

So this soundtrack is definitely going bring back the days where movie soundtracks were looked at the same as a regular album was. I am too excited for this!
