Derrick Rose Offers To Pay For Jonylah Watkins' Funeral

According to The 'LA Times' Chicago Bulls' Point Guard Derrick Rose has offered to help pay for Jonylah Watkins funeral. Jonylah Watkins was a 6 month old gunned down in Chicago by gang members as her father was changing her diaper. Derrick Rose however has not publicly confirmed these claims. 

Chicago Bulls' point guard Derrick Rose has reportedly made a kind gesture, offering to help

pay for the funeral of 6-month-old Jonylah Watkin, who was shot multiple times by a gunman on Monday as her father changed her diaper on the front seat of his minivan in Chicago.

According to NBC Chicago, a Watkin family spokesman said Rose made the offer, but the three-time All-Star has not publicly confirmed it. 

Good for him! I do believe these claims are true. He just may be not coming forward and saying anything because its not about him. It's about the family and is not trying to make an already harsh situation a spectacle like the media tends to do.
