Nicki Minaj is heading back to the studio to record new album

According to Idolator Nicki Minaj will be getting back in the studio to work on a new album after she debut's her K-Mart Clothing Line and releases the visuals to 'High School' with Lil Wayne:

 Nicki held a press conference this past week regarding her upcoming K-Mart apparel line. The clothing will be released in conjunction with ShopYourWay.com, and the Nickster sounds super amped about the opportunity. “This is like a very exciting moment for me,” she said at the press conference. “Teaming up with K-Mart and ShopYourWay.com is gonna give me a way to have my fans dress like me for an affordable price.”

Nicki assures that her Barbs will be dipped in the finest fabrics; no cheap stuff. Meanwhile, Nicki sat down with MTV to discuss her music. She’ll be dropping a video for her track with Lil Wayne, “High School,” in the very near future. Once that single officially releases, she’s back in the studio for another album. “I’ll be doing it here in L.A. while I’m shooting Idol,” she tells MTV. Perhaps the critiques she and her fellow judges provide for Idolcontestants will be applied to her next album? We’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, you can plan your Barbz-fied wardrobe once Nicki drops her clothing line sometime this year.
