Kelly Rowland Talks About Not Always Liking Her Brown Skin (Video)

 In the video Kelly Rowland talks about not always embracing her brown skin and that having a strong mother figure like Tina Knowles helped her to love who she was. I respect Kelly for being honest about that as African Americans sometimes we can be insecure when we don't see positive figures in the media who look like us. I'm glad their are more and more darker toned women that are getting more recognition in the entertainment industry nowadays. I still do think we have a long way to go though.
